For several years, I have focused my career path and academic pursuits in interpreting and completion of a BS in Deaf Studies with an Emphasis in Educational Interpreting at the University of Arizona.

While in the program I have had the opportunity to interpret a cactus harvesting festival, feed my starving children, interpret in the classroom with the supervision of a mentor Interpreter, volunteer with Deaf churches and other organizations, and become immersed in Deaf Culture.
